Dad's birthday card

After I had finished the 'warm hello' card, I was wondering what to do with the 'D' I had embossed with Opals for my Dad's birthday. He's into fishing so wanted to do something along those lines. I had made a card last year that I hadn't been happy with so I decided to rip into it and salvage what I could, which was the stamped image. Originally I was just using the blues colours but searching through my ribbons, came across this gorgeous grosgrain which was perfect. All I had to do was to add some brown into the card. I diecut some corners, added another oval layer and a knot of ribbon. Hey presto, it worked!! Dad's birthday card.

I'm over the moon with this card and think it looks great. What do you think?
Edited to add, if this is someone's sketch, thank you so much.

This is a lovely card Leigh!! I like everything you have done on it and your Dad will love it! Where do you get your chipboard letters from??

Thanks Jean,I'm quite proud of it too. The chipboard letters that I'm using are called Chipboard Cookiez by Bella! and they are round. I got them from Every Moment Matters at the Brisbane Paperarts show in September. There's 26 letters and the numbers, but double that 'cause you can use the 'negative' bit too. Would go perfectly on circle nestabilities.
