Here I am again!! Yep, another House Mouse card. On Monday, I went on a shopping bus trip to Proserpine which is about two hours north of here. We went to quite a few shops and one of them was Iddy Biddy Cottage where I found some lovely patty cake ribbon. Well I couldn't resist it. Before you ask, yes I did buy other things there. Then on Tuesday, I was in town and I saw the new Kaisercraft Sugar Sugar papers and matching brads. Mmmmm well, the ribbon went exactly with the papers. Bargain!! rofl
The House Mouse Monday challenge this week is a card for Mother. Well my Mum isn't here anymore, but I dedicate this card to her. The image I used always gives me a chuckle and Mum would have liked too. I did a bit of a search today looking for a suitable sketch and found this one, Mojo Monday Week 73. Perfect. I didn't add very many embellishments çause I wanted to showcase the image, with the paper and ribbon.
Thanks for looking and hope you like my card. I do apologise for the photo. I'm pretty sure everything is straight. Must be my bedtime.

Thatched cottage
My friend Jan requested a special card for her sister's birthday. So here is the result. I used my PSX thatched cottage stamp. I absolutely love this stamp. Thatched cottages had always been a favourite with me . I had been wanting to use my Flower Soft for ages so I did today.
I'm absolutely stoked with the way this card turned out. The sketch is from Whiff of Joy. I'm not entering the DT challenge but loved the sketch.
Also my brand new Martha Stewart doiley lace punch arrived yesterday so that had to be used too.
Cardstock - Bazzill, SU very vanilla, K & Company K-ology Hannah cardstock pad
Stamps - PSX Thatched cottage, SU Think Happy Thoughts
Ink - Stazon timber brown
Accessories - Martha Stewart Doiley Lace, SU round and round scallop punches, bling, cream lace from stash, Flower Soft in colours of Heather, Spring, Summer, Sweet Pea, Prismacolour pencils and solvent, dimensionals.
Thanks for looking and I hope you like my card.

House Mouse Eek Eek Eek
While surfing this week, I found a new challenge on Heather's blog with a link to go to a new blog called Truly Scrumptious. The challenge is a sketch and is being sponsored by Alota Rubber stamps. This card is the result. I turned the sketch onto it's side, so I hope that is permissable.
The papers I used are called Waterberry by Kaisercraft are just gorgeous. I love the colours. I also having been very keen to use this House Mouse stamp called Eek, Eek, Eek. Monica is just cute being on the telephone.
I chose the wording as the closest thing I had to something that a mouse would say on the telephone. rofl I was a bit unsure about the flowers I chose at first, but I just love them. The vintage look of them and the colours do go with the papers and cardstock.
Stamps - House Mouse Eek, Eek, Eek by Stampa Rosa and Very Mice Day by Stampabilities
Papers - Bazzill cardstock Aqua, Fire Hearts, Kachina, Chantilly (unavailable now), Kaisercraft Waterberry range of dsp
Inks - Archival black ink, Colourbox fluid chalk ink Aquamarine
Accessories - Nestabilities, Kaisercraft Waterberry brads, Prima Aloha Petals, Hero Arts Art Flowers Pastel Collage, Ribbon from stash, Prismacolour pencils
Thanks for all the comments on my blog. It's wonderful to read them all.
Hope you enjoy this card.

House Mouse Hummingbird Express
Here's my card for the House Mouse Monday Challenge. This week we had to follow a sketch. I really enjoyed making this card. I would also like to say that Lori's card inspired me to use the colours pink and green. Kaisercraft put out the Bloom set of papers with matching brads last year and I really like them. I hope I've coloured the Hummingbird ok, as I've never seen one. lol The image has been stamped on Bazzill Chantilly (now unavailable) and I wasn't really sure how the texture would go with prisma pencils but the solvent blended the colour into the cardstock well. Thanks to Jane for the idea of the oval tag which I cased from my birthday card.
Stamps - House Mouse Hummingbird Express, SU For You (no idea what set, bought 2nd hand)
Ink - Colourbox fluid chalk ink Pink Pastel, Stazon Timber Brown
Cardstock - Bazzill Piglet, Chantilly, Kaisercraft Bloom paper
Accessories - Kaisercraft bling, Bloom brad, SU small oval, 1/4" round & ticket corner punches, Nestabilities circle & scalloped circle, prisma pencils, ribbon and flower brads from stash.
Hope you like my card and thanks for looking.

House Mouse - What is it?
Back again. In fear of losing my title, House Mouse Queen, (chuckle at Jean), I finished a card this afternoon for the House Mouse Monday Challenge. The criteria was tall and thin. Well I've turned my card around, so I hope that still passes.
My aim was to make the card look like a parcel to match the present on the stamped image. So I wrapped the ribbon around the cardstock as if I was wrapping a parcel and tied a bow. The ribbon is double sided, red and green, just gorgeous.
My Martha Stewart branch punch came into play again as well as my SU photo corners punch.
The designer paper and matching brads are from the Kaisercraft Deck the Halls paper range.
I'm really happy with the way it all came together. What do you think?
Stamps - House Mouse What is it?, Hero Arts greeting
Ink - Stazon timber brown, Colourbox fluid chalk olive pastel
Cardstock - Bazzill, Kaisercraft Deck the Halls
Accessories - Kaisercraft flowers, Deck the Halls brads, SU photo corners, large and small tag punches, Martha Stewart branch punch, double sided red, green ribbon, red bling, prisma coloured pencils.
Two more cards
Here are two cards I made at Anne's. I just did most of the embellishing at home. I wanted to have a bit more texture and oomph to them. lol Couldn't find the right words. The components for these cards are mainly 3d sheets with a Lucy's stamp, just for you and colourbox fluid chalk ink used for the greeting. The porthole and ship pics are on the same sheet. I added kindy glitz to the water to give it some dimension. Also I put gold brads around the porthole again to add interest. I thought the string tied in knot added to the theme. The knapsack, boots, suitcase are on the one sheet. I just added the photo corners and brads to dress the card up a bit.

Waterfall card
I know, long time, no see. Tuesday was Ilbilbie craft morning and CWA bugs afternoon, Wednesday was CWA Sarina craft morning. So that was two days without cardmaking.
This is my first waterfall card. I think I like it. lol Not sure.
It's absolutely pouring with rain here and has been since mid morning. It's now 7pm. Haven't a clue how much we've had but what was wet, is now wetter. lol
At least, we are safe and not burnt out or flooded. What has happened in Victoria and further north in Queensland here is just heartbreaking. Please give a thought to those people and animals.
Please excuse the short post, I'm hungry so am off to have some tea then bed.
Stamps - Just for You 3319C & Nautical trio 2289E by Stamp It
Cardstock - Pebbles from the Flourish 12 x 12 paper series by Stamp It, World Win cardstock - black, grey, brown. Cream unknown.
Ink - Colourbox Burnt Sienna, Charcoal fluid chalk inks.
Accessories - brads, eyelet, black hemp twine, photo corner punch
Thanks for stopping by.

Flights of Fancy
I needed another birthday card and as all the cardstock and paper was still out from making Jean's birthday card, I decided to make another along the same lines but using SCS214.
My new Martha Stewart branch punch had arrived in the mail last week and I was itching to play with it. Wow, it punches beautifully and I just love the effect the punched branches give to a flower embellishments. The butterfly wings have been done with heat and stick powder then dazzling diamonds glitter, cut out, and 3d onto the base butterfly.
I used another butterfly from the Stamp It A5 unmounted butterfly set.
Cardstock - Butterflies and Stripes from the Alison Ellis Designs - Flights of Fancy - Enchanted Forest range, Gold Kromecote, Bazzil Basics Serenade, Heather, Forget-me-not, Ivy, Pear
Inks- Versamagic Pretty Petunia
Accessories - SU heat and stick powder, dazzling diamonds glitter, Kaisercraft flower and bling, Prima flower, purple flower from stash, dimensionals, Martha Stewart branch punch.
Thanks for looking.
On another much more serious note, I'm praying for all the victims of the Victorian bushfires and any other fires around Australia. Also for the flood victims in North Queensland.

Butterfly Script
Hello everyone, I would like to thank all of you wonderful people that comment on my blog. It is always a surprise to me that you like my cards enough to comment. I think it's wonderful.
Thank you, thank you.
I made this card for Jean. It's her birthday today, 8th February. I was a bit concerned about it çause there are so many different purples in the papers I used. So I picked one family of purples and went with them. ETA - the stamped butterfly is stamped with the versamagic then I hit it with the Heat and Stick powder before it had time to dry. Then I used the dazzling diamonds glitter. Sorry, you can't really see it properly.

House Mouse Mouse Bounce
Yep, another House Mouse card. I gave this card to my friend Heather. She likes patchwork and quilting, crocheting and hardanger. So I figured the Mouse Bounce image was just right.
I used the sketch from Ana Wohlfahrt's cupcake anniversary challenge for Taylored Expressions. The designer papers and matching brads are from the Kaisercraft Sweets range.
Heather loved the card, which is absolutely wonderful.

Hanging Calendar
Another friend of mine is having her birthday on the 17th. There is 8 of us that all meet at Jan's place once a month. We craft, talk, have morning tea, celebrate each other's birthdays and also laugh.
It was my turn yesterday and because we won't be meeting again before Heather's birthday, we celebrated Heather's birthday too.
I had a wonderful birthday. Lots of pressies, good wishes and laughs. I'll post a pic in the next couple of days of my goodies.
So for Heather's present I made her a hanging calendar by Kaisercraft. Well as I've said before, I'm not really very good at these Beyond the Page projects but I gave it my best shot.
Heather absolutely loved it and so did the other girls. Restores the confidence a bit when that happens. lol I couldn't get a decent photo at home so I took one at Jan's but Heather insisted that she hide behind her pressie. lol
I used the Flutterby papers by Kaisercraft and the matching brads. The butterflies were cut from one of the papers in the Flutterby set and glued on. The wooden butterfly and flourish are both by Kaisercraft too. The quote too is from one of the Flutterby papers.
They are covered in Opals by Pipedreamink. Flowers are some silk ones out of my stash.
Thanks for looking.
