Sketchbook Saturday Challenge & 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge.

On Sunday Jean and I challenged each other to make a card using the same sketch, in this case Iwona's Sketchbook Saturday sketch.
I also decided to enter the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge #50 for this week which is to use twine on our creation somewhere.  I was entering these fantastic challenges quite a bit until the last couple of months when my mojo ran out on me. rofl
So this is my card.   It's certainly different from Jean's. lol
I used the Open Sea stamp set with the dsp called Nautical Expedition which are both totally gorgeous.
I have attempted to create the illusion of rigging on a ship with the Baker's Twine on my card. For the greeting I loved the flag effect which I thought fitted the theme of ships, boats and ocean quite well.
Thanks for visiting my blog and make sure you hop on over to Jean's blog to check out her creation.

Absolutely fabulous card. I looked at this and just said wow. Way to work the stamps and paper. I love how you curved the sentiment and curled down the corner piece as well as the twine. Thanks for sharing this little master piece with us at 4 Crafty Chicks. Very inspirational indeed.
