Football Anyone??

I'm back again everyone.
I was asked to make a birthday card for an eleven year old boy who is interested in football.
Well, I was stumped.  My boy is nearly 21 now and I had no idea what to do.   I saw this sketch from Sketchy Colours #202 and Monica's card and bingo, I had my idea.
So off I went to find a picture of a football.  Now I must explain here, that we are talking Rugby League football as played in Australia.
I wanted an orange ball to go with Retro Fresh dsp from Stampin' Up.  That in itself was a challenge, I didn't realise there were so many different coloured footballs used nowadays. lol
I used my new On Film framelits and Make Note This And That rotary stamp on this card.  The corner is actually silver card stock as is the film die and stars.  The arrow was stamped then die cut.  I love the new Natural Chevron ribbon in the new Stampin' Up mini catalogue.  The papers, Retro Fresh, seemed to lend themselves to a younger style of card.  I am stoked with the way it's come out.
All the supplies are Stampin' Up except the football boot charm.
Hope you like my card and thanks for visiting my blog today.
