I started this pocket card a few weeks back, but hadn't finished it. I used Palette o' Prints paper and the colours So Saffron, Almost Amethyst and Certainly Celery. 'Enjoy' is from the Lovely Labels set.
This card was inspired by Nerine with a card called Blossoms Abound and a Splitcoast Stampers sketch, number 113.
The base is Whisper White, with So Saffron next. The Sanded stamp has been stamped on with So Saffron ink then the Floral stamp over that using the faux torn paper tech, again with So Saffron ink. Certainly Celery and Rose Red papers from the Palette o' Prints were then layered on. Using my stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the small rose and leaves out of the Wild Rose set and using Regal Rose, Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Old Olive onto Whisper White. Then punched three 1 1/4" squares out of my 'picture' backing them onto three 1 3/8" squares of Rose Red. Using dimensionals, these were then placed on the diagonal along my torn paper layers.
The greeting is from a retired Hostess Set and Saleabration set, Warmest Regards and Birthday Whimsy.
Actually I was pretty happy with the end result. Thanks for looking.
