I brought Dean home from the hospital yesterday. He's a lot better but still only has a back slab on. I have to take him back on Tuesday and the doctors say that he can probably have a full cast on then. We just have to wait and see.
Tomorrow is usually my day in town with my friends doing our cards but I'm giving it a miss. Maybe I can get the last of my Brisbane class cards finished and put them on my blog. I'll see how I go.
Thanks so much for all your thoughts and good wishes. Much appreciated. It's certainly been an exhausting 12 days.

Glad your son is home and he's on the way to recovery! I'm sure you'll enjoy not visiting the hospital too - take care both of you!

Leigh,
Glad to hear your son is now on the mend. It must have been really hard on you the last two weeks. I am thinking of you. I hope he continues to improve over the next couple of days so you can have a little time to relax it must be extremely exhausting. I wish I could cook you up a home cooked meal to help you recover over all the stress. Shame you are so far away.
